Dear fellow Mauritians

This blog has been set up because like so many people, I would like to live in a world free of pollution and in total synchronicity with nature. While civilization has brought comfort and solutions to many of mankind’s dilemmas, the harm done to Mother Nature is nevertheless extremely damaging and on the brink of being irreversible.

While I watch Joel de Rosnay almost fight out his frustration at having to convince us that we should promote environmentally friendly development plans in all areas, be it infrastructure or as he puts it the 4 Es – Education, Energie (Energy), Environment and Eau (Water), I thought of bringing in my small contribution to try disseminate ideas and ‘convert’the skeptical ones to the green attitude.

I invite you all to work towards an eco-friendly island which we would be proud of in 20 years when we would then stop benchmarking on Singapore (though it’s a lovely country) and the rest of the world would use Mauritius as an example.
